Pomegranate Peace Pod 
 
Are you interested in knitting to promote peace and healing?
 
Pomegranate Place is forming a Peace Pod as part of the Denver-based nonprofit organization, Women4Women-Knitting4Peace, which is dedicated to knitting together the global Beloved Community. The organization creates items that are delivered to countries and neighborhoods that are in conflict or in need of support. The knitted and crocheted items include: 

• Peace Shawls for women
• Peace Pals (boy & girl dolls) for children
• Scarves4Peace for children & teens
• Peace Caps for premature babies, children & teens
• Blankets of Peace for families 

The Peace Pod will meet monthly for knitting and discussion, offer knitting lessons, and collect yarn and other materials. In addition to providing items for global communities, we hope to identify local groups of women that we can support.
