VISION

Pomegranate Place nourishes, enlivens, empowers and advocates for women – women who are looking for more meaningful lives, new ways to express themselves in the world, and a sense of belonging through shared experience. We envision both a physical gathering place, rich in generosity and acceptance, and a universal conversation, abundant in possibility. This is a place where compassion, justice, freedom and transcendence are foundational values rather than intangible afterthoughts – where independence is a practice, living authentically a mantra, and shared wisdom the feast!

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Pomegranate Place…

• Will be a safe place for creating, learning, sharing resources, cultivating alliances, developing opportunities, and building community among women both personally and professionally;
• Will be a place of abundance where women come together to give to one another generously, knowing that in so doing, there will be more for all of us and for the world;
• Will embrace and honor diversity of views. We will celebrate differences and look with deep curiosity to respect and learn from one another;
• Will recognize that we, as women, come from a wide variety of backgrounds. We will be open to all women, regardless of experience, education, and/or set of values.
• Will guard the confidential information that others share with us and refrain from saying things about others that we would not say in their presence.
• Will pursue wise women for our community – women who champion other women and work to cultivate women’s strengths – knowing that we must learn from one another and work collaboratively to make our lives and our world better.
