September 11th, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in the Art Box room.

In this workshop, we will work with dream themes, plotlines and images to write poetry or mythologized short stories. Each participant is encouraged to bring their writing journals and 1-2 dreams to work with. Through Jungian-focused dreamwork techniques, we will discuss and interpret the dreams and amplify the symbols, images and mythological themes that emerge. The result: Some creative writing!

Monday, August 23rd, 6:45 PM - 8:45 PM with Jane Stanfield

A volunteer vacation gives you a chance to experience new adventures in places you have never been with people you have never met while having the time of your life and making a difference. What is not to love!

You’ve decided to try one but where to start?  How do you find a project?  What can you do? Where are they offered? Who else will be there?  Will you be comfortable?  Do you need to have special expertise or know the language? How much do they cost? Help!
